One of our favourite lines in the book is ‘one of the best gifts we can give ourselves is to get rid of our excuses’. We found the book to be an easy read because the story was quite engaging.
The story line is simple but the lessons so profound that they provoke you into a space of deep self- reflection. The book will take you on a journey of self-discovery aiming to help you identify your true self. You are challenged to ask yourself how authentic you are being firstly to yourself, your family and your friends. Many of us go through this life trying to be someone else instead of our true selves as we struggle to fit into what we perceive as societies norms to be truly happy. We are reminded to embrace our fears and take the first step and never to be afraid of making mistakes as this is how we learn. Most importantly we are told to be kind to others and to ourselves because how we treat others is a reflection of how we treat ourselves. If we cannot forgive others, how do we expect to forgive our own selves?
There are nine secret letters tied to nine corresponding talismans that are aimed to inspire you to tap into your personal power. We encourage you to get it and if you have already read it, read it again, as you will find the lessons of the Talismans still as impactful. Happy reading!
